“Lifestyle freedom is about having an abundance of choice in your life. It is about discarding what is common-place in society and having the ability to define how you spend every hour of your day. Lifestyle freedom is breaking yourself out of "lifestyle jail", where you are chained to a job, and achieving ultimate freedom - the freedom to do whatever you want.”

Zac Sky

The quote from Zac Sky, an Australian entrepreneur, is spot on. He’s right. Lifestyle freedom is about getting choices in life and the freedom to do whatever we want.

Build an online business and lower your financial stress.

Perhaps You’re Like Lewis?

Perhaps you’re like Lewis, he want’s to start an online business, but doubts what type website he needs. He introduced himself on 9th January 2017 this way:“Hi everyone, my name’s Lewis. I have been a web designer & music producer for more than 12 years now. The journey has been fun, but now I want to think of ways to make some real income (not pennies). I am stuck with what type of website to start. I created a YouTube account and started to upload my beats on there, they’re doing okay but nothing amazing. Being a music producer is difficult as it is a competitive niche.”Lewis asks a relevant question:

What Website Should I Have?

Because the website is the heart of an online business. Since Lewis is alone, he needs a flexible solution. It’s difficult to follow-through on the project, If he chooses the wrong website, with a product, which he has little passion or knowledge about.

Step 1: Get the Website + Will it Fly?

The quote from Lewis shows, he has a passion for music and web design. He could buy a website and translate the passion into products people need. If he uses the code NEWTRADER, he’ll get a discount when he buys the website, which will give him the first month for one cent.Lewis said, “being a music producer is difficult as it is a competitive niche. It’s a legitimate worry. It’s a common newcomers problem, they are passionate about their niche, but they feel it’s too competitive to enter.I recommend Lewis to read Pat Flynn: Will it Fly? It takes away the worries and replaces it with clarity. The clarity gives him the confidence to push forward and create useful website content. Even in a competitive environment.

Step 2: Who to Listen To?

Zac Sky defined Lifestyle freedom as the freedom to do whatever we want. The last 12 years have been fun for Lewis. But low income prevents him from obtaining freedom to do, whatever he wants.By the website purchase and Pat Flynn’s book, Lewis planted the first seed for higher future income. When Lewis understands his online business’ why, he’ll stand much stronger, as he aims for lifestyle freedom through financial freedom. He will build the website in a way that will serve people, so people buy from him. When people buy from him, Lewis increases income - and achieves control over his income source.Yes, It takes time to grow the website. But following Pat Flynn’s advice, Lewis will see positive results. He could also integrate Email Marketing on his website. It helps him to connect with visitors. It’s hard to say when Lewis will have enough visitors, to see money flow in.We talk months, perhaps years. But we also talk about ‘business’ and ‘lifestyle change’.The shortest road to “having an abundance of choice in your life” as Zac Sky said, is F-O-C-U-S.

Keep It Simple

Read 3 or 4 quality books about how to create an online business. Leave everything else out while building the business. Here are the books I would recommend Lewis to read:

Pat Flynn: Will it Fly?: How to Test Your Next Business Idea So You Don't Waste Your Time and Money

He could buy it as a Kindle Book. The book contains useful links. The Kindle version allows him to use the search function. Lewis will appreciate this since he’ll come back to the book often. As he reads the book’s first part, Pat Flynn takes him through a process ensuring, he picks the right website content. Some are so busy focusing on earning money, they forget the 'why.'Will it Fly? helps Lewis to develop a strong WHY by putting him through tests. Having the necessary tests in ONE book is great.Lewis has used most of his time to create music. It’s OK.Pat Flynn explains the basics without assuming people like Lewis have read his or other's entrepreneurs blogs from A-Z.After reading Will it Fly? I recommend Lewis to move on to:

Timothy Ferriss: The 4-Hour Workweek, Expanded and Updated: Expanded and Updated, With Over 100 New Pages of Cutting-Edge Content

I suggest Lewis buy the Kindle format. This book also has useful links and the Kindle version allows him to use the search function. The 4-hour Workweek is for individuals like Lewis. It’s a delightful glimpse into an unconventional person's mind about work and lifestyle. The book expands the imagination BIG TIME on what’s possible with an online business. The ideas about time and flexibility in The 4-hour Workweek, teaches Lewis how to be focused. They boost his productivity, during the time he builds the website.Timothy Ferriss simplifies the whole process Lewis will go through, while he builds the online business.Because Lewis has already read Pat Flynn’s, Will it Fly? he has developed clarity regarding his business purpose. This enables him to read The 4-hour Workweek with the purpose of becoming:More efficient - and less busy, and:• More creative - and less scared of failure. The next book, Lewis will move on to is:

Chris Guillebeau: The $100 Startup: Reinvent the Way You Make a Living, Do What You Love, and Create a New Future

Again, I would say buy the Kindle version for the same reason as with the first two books.if I have the choice, I always buy the Kindle book. I was a non-screen reader until I turned 35. Kindle books are among the most important tools; I use as a Retail Forex Blogger today. It saves time, having all the information I need, on my PC, iPad or iPhone. After he read the first two books, Lewis can plod the Internet without problems when he needs information on a topic. They gave him the tools he needed to get momentum. The last two books are more inspirational and general. It’s time to go deeper into the big picture, Lewis read about in the first sections of Will it Fly?As a house owner paints his house to protect it, so will Lewis ‘paint’ his online business. He will put it into a bigger context. Some bash inspirational and general books, saying, they “just scratch the surface,” or “waffle on a few basic principles too simple to be helpful.“These people want details how to get from A to B.I’m sure Lewis already knows how to get from A to B in his business from the first two books.Chris Guillebeau's book The $100 Startup, on the other hand, gives him a broader perspective and helps him stay motivated. To Build an online business is hard, it has its ups and downs.I know, I would have given up on my online business without inspirational and general books. They gave me strength to pull myself up, again and again when I failed.I need broad concepts.I need ideals.I need time, but I know how to get from A to B.Lewis will enjoy The $100 Startup. It’s written for people without business education. Chris Guillebeau’s book is a book of elementary entrepreneurship principles. The last book I’ll recommend is:

Robert T. Kiyosaki: Rich Dad Poor Dad: What The Rich Teach Their Kids About Money - That The Poor And Middle Class Do Not!

This book can be bought as Kindle- or paperback. It’s motivational and without concrete advice. Some see this as a weakness. I see it as a strength when the book is read together with the other books, I’ve mentioned.Rich Dad Poor Dad is the best book I’ve read about money. Robert Kiyosaki presents 'personal finance' and 'money’s function' in an easy to understand language. While reading, Lewis will realize, the majority is done to achieve financial freedom.Robert Kiyosaki’s book is the final coat of paint, Lewis needs to remain a follow-through person.

I Wish You the Best with Your Business
